Hi! “Chichester Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” is a new exciting group for women in their 20s and 30s who live or work in and around Chichester. I have decided to start this group as I’m learning that it can be hard to make friends when you’re new to the area and thought that there must be others in the same boat! The aim of the group is to bring together like minded girls who want to have fun whilst meeting new people in a warm friendly atmosphere. There will be a variety meetups including coff …

Hola! I'm Rosa... and together with a couple of amigos I have set up this small but growing group after spotting a "gap in the market". Rosa's Friends aims to be, above all, just that: friendly! We hope to attract an international crowd: on the one hand, people, like myself, from "overseas"; together, in hopefully equal numbers, with natives (aka "Brits") with, if not connections of some kind with other cultures, a passion or at the very least a strong interest in the world beyond Dover. Whilst …
Hello! I have just moved to Arundel, where I know only my brother and one of his friends! So I am looking to make friends with other people, whatever your age or interests. There seems to be lots of groups on here for Chichester, Worthing and Brighton but there isn't one for Arundel. :-( Let's get together for drinks, cinema, walking, going for coffee, shopping, picnics by the river in summer, outings to other towns and cities, pub lunches, restaurant meals, exercise classes. I'm open to suggest …

This is a group for musicians of any standard to get together and enjoy playing folk music together; looking for banjos, mandolins, flutes, bodhrans, guitar, pipes, whistles, accordions, melodicas, spoons... The point isn't to be brilliant; being crap is an option. If you're good it's about being generous; if you're learning it's about discovering how to play together. It's about finding a place to relax as we play too. Pubs, clubs and sessions are, inevitably, about performing. This is more abo …

Nothing hectic, nothing time consuming - just a chance to meet with local wedding professionals once every few months. And maybe an annual Christmas party or something - the things we miss out on being self employed! You membership to the group is completely free and we won't flood your inbox with stuff (pet hate of mine). You can also set up an event if you like - whether it be a talk, coffee, a little shoot or just a few drinks in the pub. But I have paid for the group so do please join! Pleas …

We don't get together to draw or make any art. We don't review portfolios or wo …
This group is for any person really. We attract the deep thinker, or perhaps the social bee -- but they have a keen sense of examining a good question. In the past, I have been thinking of topics, and then present them in a fishing hat for selection. One hat is for meaningful ideas, the other is for more off-beat type of discussion. Ideally, a good conversation consists of 4-8 people, and we are capable of breaking up into two or more groups. Our venue is the The Brunswick Pub (1 Holland R …

We enjoy a variety of activities now, but our focus remains on walking, cycling and exploring our beautiful part of England. We shall continue to enjoy the occasional sausage or curry evening, skittles and o …
We are a group of friends who got together in 2006, to ride in the annual LiDBA 25 mile charity ride around Liphook and raise funds for the Friends of Liphook Junior School. To make it as much fun as possible, we got together every Thursday evening in Milland for the six weeks leading upto the big day, to ride around the quiet lanes of Milland before entering the pub, for a social chat. This we have continued to do every year, and decided in 2011, that we would like to do more riding and have a …

I live on the edge of South Downs National Park and have spent many years walking in the area and know so many beautiful places I want to share with people. Anyone who likes walking , meeting new people and enjoying great pub lunches should join. I do recommend that you wear appropriate walking boots or shoes and outdoor weather attire when attending any walks. This is a new group so I will be very pleased to hear any feedback and …
